What is Adsense?
Adsense is Google’s trademark advertising system. Adwords is where people pay to have their ads shown, and Adsense is where people get code for putting ads on their own website.
Below is an example of Adsense code:
<script type=”text/javascript”><!–
google_ad_client = “pub-9472198833030518″;
/* 300×250, created 11/4/08 */
google_ad_slot = “4472622043″;
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
//–>
</script>
<script type=”text/javascript”
src=”http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js”>
</script>
And Below is that code in working form:
As you can see the ad pulls material from my website, keywords and such, and then presents hopefully a relevant set of ads. If you have any other questions about Adsense feel free to ask me or put a comment in.
