Jimmy Carter – The Caring President

Jimmy Carter might not have inherited the best of times in American History, we were in the cold war, there was trouble in the Middle East, OPEC was founded, and American hostages were taking in Iran, but he did his best and continued to help his fellow American long after his term expired. Today President Carter freed a missionary who was captured by North Korea in January by personally visiting the country and negotiating the man’s release.
